My books have been translated into 14+ languages. I always get a thrill from seeing foreign editions and if any of you see the Brazilian edition of Best Friends or Not? I’d love to see the cover.
One of my favourite overseas editions of I’ll Always Love You is in Arabic - I think the writing is especially attractive and it’s read from right to left, which is the opposite direction to Western writing.
I’m glad you found your way here. Having a weirdly spelt name means it can be tricky to find my website. Few people get the spelling of Paeony Lewis right the first time and instead type Peony Lewis, Peaony Lewis, Peonie Lewis, Penny Lewis, Posy Louis...
I created this website many years ago and a new website is on my ‘to do’ list. In the meantime, please just think of it as retro!

I enjoy visiting schools and libraries (early years, KS1 and KS2, and even KS3).

The picture book I’ll Always Love You still has new editions around the world, even after almost 20 years.
Do you remember the Tweenies?
In the Handyman Milo episode of the BBC Tweenies, Grandpa Max read all of my picture book . So cute!
This book even sneaked into a TV episode of the US teen musical drama Glee. Sue Sylvester (the psycho cheerleading teacher!) shares it with her sister in a tender moment.
Although I don’t illustrate my own books, I am developing as an artist in a different way and am currently studying for an MA in Fine Art. A glimpse of my art may be seen at artspaeony.blogspot.com
